Pennsylvania High School Football - Girard prevails Corry
October 14, 2022: Girard, PA 16417 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Girard Yellowjackets (Girard, PA) and the visiting Corry Beavers (Corry, PA), observed Girard's football squad defeat Corry by a count of 30-21.
The Yellowjackets now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host General McLane for a District 10 Region 4 contest on Saturday, October 22. Girard will play a Lancers squad coming off a 29-15 non-league win over Fairview (Fairview, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 7-1.
Coming up next, the Beavers play the Fort LeBoeuf Bison (Waterford, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 contest, on Friday, October 21. Corry will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Bison go into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 41-12 non-league loss to St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH).
