In Friday's non-league match, the visiting General McLane Lancers football squad scored a good 36-20 victory over the Corry Beavers.

In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Harbor Creek Huskies (Harborcreek, PA) in a District 10 Region 5 match, on Friday, September 30. General McLane will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Huskies enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 42-6 non-league win over Girard (Girard, PA).

The Beavers (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Fairview (Fairview, PA). The Tigers enter the District 10 Region 4 match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Fairview ran past Warren (Warren, PA), 34-14, in a non-league match.
