In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Cranford Cougars football squad scored a good 31-0 victory over the Linden Tigers.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the North Brunswick North Brunswick Raiders (North Brunswick, NJ) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 21. Cranford will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The North Brunswick Raiders enter the match with a 7-0 record after their 26-0 non-league win over East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ).

The Tigers (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Montgomery (Skillman, NJ). The Cougars enter the Big Central - Liberty Silver match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Montgomery ran past Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ), 40-14, in a league match.
