The Foard Tigers football team (Newton, NC), was ripped 55-17 in Friday's league challenge with the host North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC)

The Knights (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Warriors come into the 3A West Conference 51 challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, West Iredell was ripped by Hickory (Hickory, NC), 56-30, in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Hickory for a 3A West Conference 51 challenge on Friday, October 21. Foard will meet a Red Tornadoes team coming off a 56-30 league win over West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 6-2.
