October 14, 2022: Middletown, DE 19709 The Middletown Cavaliers football team (Middletown, DE), was beaten 31-21 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Salesianum Sallies (Wilmington, DE)
The Sallies (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against William Penn (New Castle, DE). The Colonials come into the 3A District 1 challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, William Penn was beaten by Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE), 40-0, in a league challenge.
The Cavaliers now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Georges Tech for a 3A District 1 challenge on Saturday, October 22. Middletown will meet a Hawks team coming off a 27-21 league win over Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE). The Hawks record now stands at 2-4.
