Texas High School Football - Northwest nips The Colony

In Friday's league match, the host Northwest Texans football squad scored a close 35-29 victory over the The Colony Cougars.

In their next game, the Texans clash with the South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A-1 Region I District 3 match, on Thursday, October 20. Northwest will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Scorpions enter the match with a 1-6 record after their 77-7 league loss to Brewer (Fort Worth, TX).

The Cougars (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Azle (Azle, TX). The Hornets enter the 5A-1 Region I District 3 match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Azle held off Saginaw (Saginaw, TX), 28-21, in a league match.
