The Brewer Bears football team (Fort Worth, TX), was knocked off 30-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX)

The Cougars (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwest (Justin, TX). The Texans come into the 5A-1 Region I District 3 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Northwest knocked off Saginaw (Saginaw, TX), 70-0, in a league challenge.

The Bears now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host South Hills for a 5A-1 Region I District 3 challenge on Friday, October 14. Brewer will meet a Scorpions team coming off a 68-0 league loss to Aledo (Aledo, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 1-5.
