October 14, 2022: Hammond, LA 70401 The St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons football team (Hammond, LA), was beaten 20-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks (Greensburg, LA)
The Hawks (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Springfield (Springfield, LA). The Bulldogs come into the 2A District 7 challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Springfield was beaten by Independence (Independence, LA), 44-14, in a league challenge.
The Falcons now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Northlake Christian for a 2A District 7 challenge on Friday, October 21. St. Thomas Aquinas will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 35-7 league win over Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-2.
