Texas High School Volleyball - Angleton edged by Texas City
October 14, 2022: Texas City, TX 77590 The Texas City Stingarees held off the visiting Angleton Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's league test.
The Stingarees now have a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Friendswood for a 5A Region III District 18 test on Tuesday, October 18. Texas City will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 30-10.
The Wildcats (9-17) will now prepare for their test against Manvel (Manvel, TX). The Mavericks enter the 5A Region III District 18 test with a 26-10 record. In their last test, Manvel held off Ball (Galveston, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
