October 14, 2022: Dupree, SD 57623 The Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD) volleyball nudged the host Dupree Tigers (Dupree, SD), 3-2 in Friday's non-league outing.
With the win, Newell upgrades its record to 20-7 on the year. The Irrigators host Takini (Howes, SD) to face the Skyhawks in a B Region 8 outing on Monday, October 17. The Skyhawks go into the outing with a record of 3-11. Takini lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Langford (Langford, SD)
The Tigers now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Roncalli for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 15. Dupree will face a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 9-6.
