Ponder Lions (Ponder, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host S & S Consolidated Rams (Sadler, TX), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Lions battle the Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 match, on Tuesday, October 18. Ponder will attempt to advance on its 26-14 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the match with a 30-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX).

With the loss, S & S Consolidated drops to 32-8 on the campaign. The Rams host Callisburg (Gainesville, TX) to battle the Wildcats in a 3A Region II District 10 match on Tuesday, October 18.
