October 14, 2023: New Berlin, IL 62670 The New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers football team (New Berlin, IL), was beaten 55-26 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL)
The Trojans (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Athens (Athens, IL). The Warriors come into the Sangamo challenge with a 7-1 record. In their last challenge, Athens achieved victory over Riverton (Riverton, IL), 64-14, in a league challenge.
The Vipers now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pleasant Plains for a Sangamo challenge on Friday, October 20.
