Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team nudge the visiting Athens Warriors (Athens, IL), 28-21 in a league test.

With the win, Maroa-Forsyth improves its record to 9-0 on the season. The Trojans host Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL) to confront the Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, October 28. The Knights go into the test with a record of 5-4. Chicago Christian lost 36-7 in their recent league test against Aurora Christian (Aurora, IL)

With the loss, Athens moves to 7-2 on the season. The Warriors host Southwestern (Piasa, IL) to confront the Piasa Birds in a non-league test on Saturday, October 28. The Piasa Birds go into the test with a record of 5-4. Southwestern won 35-7 in their recent league test against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL)
