October 14, 2023: St. Charles, IL 60174 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Belvidere North Blue Thunder (Belvidere, IL) and the host St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL), saw Belvidere North's volleyball squad beat St. Charles East by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Belvidere North upgrades its record to 27-6 on the year. The Blue Thunder travel to Lemont (Lemont, IL) to play the Lemont HS in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. The Lemont HS go into the bout with a record of 25-7. Lemont lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL)
The Fighting Saints now own a 8-23 record. They play next when they travel to Prairie Ridge for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 14. St. Charles East will play a Wolves squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Naperville Central (Naperville, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 17-13.
