New Mexico High School Volleyball - Coronado tips Hozho Academy
October 14, 2023: Gallina, NM 87017 Coronado Leopards (Gallina, NM) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Hozho Academy Wolves (Gallup, NM), 3-2 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Leopards clash with the New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Santa Fe, NM) in a 1A District 7 match, on Thursday, October 19. Coronado will attempt to advance on its 2-12 season record.
With the loss, Hozho Academy drops to 3-13 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league match on Tuesday, October 17. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 2-14. Navajo Pine lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Ramah (Ramah, NM)
