The Effingham County Rebels volleyball team (Springfield, GA), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting South Effingham Mustangs (Guyton, GA)

The Mustangs (23-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA). The Terrors enter the non-league challenge with a 26-9 record. In their last challenge, Glynn Academy nipped Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rebels encounter the Lakeside Vikings (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 14. Effingham County will attempt to move on its 24-14 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 28-8 record after their 3-2 league loss to St. Pius X Catholic (Atlanta, GA).
