With the win, Independence betters its record to 22-15 on the year. The Patriots travel to Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV) to face the Eagles in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 14. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 14-11. Robert C. Byrd lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV)
