October 14, 2024: Asbury Park, NJ 07712 Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Asbury Park Bishops (Asbury Park, NJ), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Neptune moves its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Scarlet Fliers host Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ) to meet the Bucs in a Shore B - North test on Wednesday, October 16. The Bucs come into the test with a record of 9-5. Red Bank Regional won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ)
The Bishops now sport a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they host Freehold Boro for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 16. Asbury Park will meet a Colonials team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Seneca (Tabernacle, NJ). The Colonials record now stands at 3-10.
