New Jersey High School Soccer - St. Rose toppled by Neptune
September 16, 2024: Neptune, NJ 07753 Neptune Scarlet Fliers (Neptune, NJ) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Neptune moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Scarlet Fliers travel to Freehold Boro (Freehold, NJ) to meet the Colonials in a Shore B - North test on Thursday, September 19. The Colonials come into the test with a record of 2-3. Freehold Boro lost 7-1 in their recent league test against St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ)
The Purple Roses now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Manalapan for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. St. Rose will meet a Braves team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Jackson Memorial (Jackson Township, NJ). The Braves record now stands at 3-0.
