The Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) volleyball held off the host Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD), 3-2 in Monday's league bout.

The Hornets now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Clarksburg for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 17. Damascus will clash with a Coyotes team coming off a 3-0 league win over Whitman (Bethesda, MD). The Coyotes record now stands at 8-4.
