With the win, Damascus improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to Magruder (Rockville, MD) to encounter the Colonels in a Montgomery County 2A/3A battle on Monday, September 23. The Colonels go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Magruder won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD)
The Trojans now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seneca Valley for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 24. Gaithersburg will encounter a Screamin' Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD). The Screamin' Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
