In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Point Pleasant Big Blacks volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Grace Christian .

With the win, Point Pleasant improves its record to 11-16 on the season. The Big Blacks host Nitro (Nitro, WV) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, October 16. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 11-11. Nitro lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV)
