In Thursday's non-league match, the Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV) volleyball squad tipped the visiting St. Joseph Central Irish (Huntington, WV), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Big Blacks battle the Ravenswood Red Devils (Ravenswood, WV) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 23. Point Pleasant will attempt to move on its 17-17 season record. The Red Devils enter the match with a 31-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Ripley (Ripley, WV).
