Morris (Morris, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Morris upgrades its record to 22-5 on the campaign. The host Rochelle (Rochelle, IL) to meet the Hubs in a Interstate Eight challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Hubs come into the challenge with a record of 14-17. Rochelle lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Kaneland (Maple Park, IL)

Next, the Pirates meet the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers (LaSalle, IL) in a Interstate Eight test, on Wednesday, October 15. Ottawa will attempt to improve on its 8-19 season record. The Cavaliers go into the test with a 23-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Sycamore (Sycamore, IL).
