The Weston Trojans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Newtown Nighthawks to 2 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pomperaug for a Southwest-Colonial outing on Thursday, October 16. Weston will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Immaculate (Danbury, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 7-9.

The Nighthawks (7-7) will now prepare for their game against Masuk (Monroe, CT). The Panthers go into the Southwest-Colonial game with a 12-7 record. In their last game, Masuk nudged New Milford (New Milford, CT), 3-0, in a league game.
