Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Darien Blue Wave (Darien, CT) and the visiting Weston Trojans (Weston, CT), observed Darien's volleyball team hold off Weston by a count of 3-2.

The Blue Wave (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Westhill (Stamford, CT). The Vikings enter the Fairfield County contest with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Trojans meet the Ludlowe Falcons (Fairfield, CT) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 10. Weston will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons go into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Joel Barlow (Redding, CT).
