In Tuesday's non-league match, the South County Vipers (Franklin, IL) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Routt Catholic Rockets (Jacksonville, IL), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Vipers encounter the Carrollton Hawks (Carrollton, IL) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 16. South County will attempt to improve on its 13-12 season record. The Hawks go into the test with a 19-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Southwestern (Piasa, IL).

The Rockets now own a 12-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Illinois School for the Deaf for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 15.
