The South County Vipers volleyball squad (Franklin, IL), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Triopia/Virginia Trojans (Concord, IL)

With the win, Triopia/Virginia improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to Mendon Unity (Mendon, IL) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league battle on Monday, September 8. The Mustangs go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Mendon Unity lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Augusta Southeastern (Augusta, IL)

The Vipers now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lutheran for a MSM contest on Tuesday, September 9. South County will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 2-0 league win over Tri-City (Buffalo, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-5.
