Texas High School Football - Independence defeats Centennial

October 15, 2021: Frisco, TX 75035

In Friday's league match, the visiting Independence Knights football squad scored a good 44-24 victory over the Centennial Titans.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) in a 5A-1 Region II District 5 match, on Thursday, October 21. Independence will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 50-36 league win over Heritage (Frisco, TX).

The Titans (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers enter the 5A-1 Region II District 5 bout with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, Lone Star defeated Wakeland (Frisco, TX), 33-3, in a league bout.
