October 15, 2024: Gallina, NM 87017 Evangel Christian Academy Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Coronado Leopards (Gallina, NM), 3-1 in a league test.
With the win, Evangel Christian Academy improves its record to 2-9 on the season. The Eagles travel to Walatowa Charter (Jemez Pueblo, NM) to face the Cougars in a 1A District 7 test on Friday, October 18. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 0-1. Walatowa Charter lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Coronado (Gallina, NM)
The Leopards now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tse' Yi' Gai for a non-league test on Thursday, October 17. Coronado will face a Dine Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM). The Dine Warriors record now stands at 6-6.
