October 15, 2024: Lorena, TX 76655 In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Lorena Leopards volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the La Vega Pirates.
The Leopards (22-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Gatesville (Gatesville, TX). The Hornets enter the 4A Region III District 23 challenge with a 23-11 record. In their last challenge, Gatesville beat Connally (Waco, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Pirates meet the China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 challenge, on Friday, October 18. La Vega will attempt to upgrade on its 4-19 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 23-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Robinson (Robinson, TX).
