October 15, 2024: Yamhill, OR 97148 Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Yamhill-Carlton Tigers (Yamhill, OR) and the visiting Warrenton Warriors (Warrenton, OR), observed Yamhill-Carlton's volleyball team top Warrenton by a count of 3-1.
The Tigers (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rainier (Rainier, OR). The Columbians enter the 3A Coastal Range contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Rainier was knocked off by Corbett (Corbett, OR), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Warriors battle the Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates (Rockaway Beach, OR) in a 3A Coastal Range contest, on Thursday, October 17. Warrenton will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Pirates enter the contest with a 3-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Banks (Banks, OR).
