East Rutherford Cavaliers (Bostic, NC) boosters exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC), 4-2 in a league outing.

The Cavaliers (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers go into the Western Piedmont 3A/4A outing with a 16-1 record. In their last outing, Patton got by West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC), 1-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Trojans clash with the East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) in a Western Piedmont 3A/4A bout, on Monday, October 20. Chase will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 0-14 record after their 2-2 league R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC).
