Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Amelia County Raiders (Amelia Court House, VA) and the visiting Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA), observed Amelia County's volleyball team top Prince Edward County by a count of 3-0.

The Raiders (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Statesmen enter the James River contest with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Randolph-Henry dropped by Buckingham (Buckingham, VA), 3-2, in a league battle.
