Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Willowbrook Warriors (Villa Park, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Downers Grove South upgrades its record to 22-5 on the year. The Mustangs host Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL) to meet the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 18-8. Downers Grove North won 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL)

Next, the Warriors meet the Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 18. Willowbrook will attempt to improve on its 17-14 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 14-15 record after their 2-0 league win over Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL).
