Virginia High School Volleyball - Steward The Covenant School

In Wednesday's non-league match, the The Covenant School Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) volleyball squad overcame the host Steward Spartans (Richmond, VA), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Chelsea Academy Knights (Front Royal, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 16. The Covenant School will attempt to better on its 18-1 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Oakcrest (McLean, VA).

With the loss, Steward drops to 11-12 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA) to clash with the Mighty Oaks in a VISAA Division 2 contest on Thursday, October 16. The Mighty Oaks enter the contest with a record of 3-14. Norfolk Collegiate lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA)
