October 16, 2023: Richmond, VA 23231 The L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) volleyball were winner over the host Varina Blue Devils (Richmond, VA), 3-1 in Monday's non-league outing.
With the win, L.C. Bird betters its record to 6-11 on the year. The Skyhawks host Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA) to face the Cavaliers in a Dominion outing on Tuesday, October 17. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a record of 6-8. Clover Hill lost 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against J.R. Tucker (Henrico, VA)
The Blue Devils now sport a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Atlee for a Capital outing on Thursday, October 19. Varina will face a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 10-7.
