Virginia High School Volleyball - Petersburg routed by L.C. Bird
October 2, 2023: Chesterfield, VA 23832 The L.C. Bird Skyhawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Petersburg Crimson Wave to 0 in the Skyhawks non-league victory on Monday.
The Skyhawks now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cosby for a Dominion game on Tuesday, October 3. L.C. Bird will meet a Titans team coming off a 3-2 league win over James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Titans record now stands at 9-1.
The Crimson Wave (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA). The Monarchs enter the Central game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Meadowbrook was dropped by Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
