Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Mount Abram Roadrunners (Strong, ME), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Black Bears confront the Hall-Dale Bulldogs (Farmingdale, ME) in a Class C - South challenge, on Thursday, October 19. Maranacook will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Greely (Cumberland Center, ME).

The Roadrunners now have a 5-7 record.
