October 16, 2023: Raleigh, NC 27613 Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders (Raleigh, NC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Leesville Road Pride (Raleigh, NC), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Crusaders face the Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 18. Cardinal Gibbons will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record. The Capitals enter the challenge with a 11-1 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Sanderson (Raleigh, NC).
The Pride now have a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Athens Drive for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 18. Leesville Road will face a Jaguars team coming off a 1-1 non-league Enloe (Raleigh, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-7.
