North Carolina High School Soccer - Wakefield knocks off Heritage
October 16, 2023: Raleigh, NC 27614 Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Heritage Huskies (Wake Forest, NC), 3-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines face the Knightdale Knights (Knightdale, NC) in a challenge, on Wednesday, October 18. Wakefield will attempt to better on its 11-4 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 2-15 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC).
The Huskies now have a 8-9 record. They take the field next when they host Rolesville for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 18. Heritage will face a Rams team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC). The Rams record now stands at 3-11.
