Cimarron-Memorial Spartans (Las Vegas, NV) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Las Vegas Wildcats (Las Vegas, NV), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Palo Verde Panthers (Las Vegas, NV) in a 5A Southern challenge, on Wednesday, October 18. Cimarron-Memorial will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Western (Las Vegas, NV).

The Wildcats now have a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they host Coronado for a 5A Southern challenge on Wednesday, October 18. Las Vegas will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-3 league Green Valley (Henderson, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 15-1.
