In Monday's non-league contest, the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Bearcats battle the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 17. Anson will attempt to better on its 15-7 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 16-6 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Monroe (Monroe, NC).
