New York High School Volleyball - Shaker tips Colonie Central
October 16, 2023: Latham, NY 12110 Shaker Bison (Latham, NY) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Colonie Central Raiders (Albany, NY), 3-2 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Bison clash with the Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Grey match, on Tuesday, October 17. Shaker will attempt to advance on its 17-5 season record. The Plainsmen come into the match with a 36-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Fairport (Fairport, NY).
With the loss, Colonie Central drops to 0-10 on the campaign. The Raiders host Schenectady (Schenectady, NY) to clash with the Patriots in a Section 2 Suburban - Grey match on Tuesday, October 17. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 0-8. Schenectady lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY)
