Rhode Island High School Volleyball - North Smithfield can't hold off Mt. Hope
October 16, 2023: North Smithfield, RI 02896 The North Smithfield Northmen volleyball team (North Smithfield, RI), was edged 3-2 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI)
The Huskies (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Westerly (Westerly, RI). The Bulldogs come into the Division 2 challenge with a 9-4 record. In their last challenge, Westerly nudged St. Mary Academy-Bay View (East Providence, RI), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Northmen encounter the Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI) in a Division 2 challenge, on Wednesday, October 18. North Smithfield will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 3-2 league win over Exeter-West Greenwich (West Greenwich, RI).
