The Sunnyslope Vikings volleyball squad (Phoenix, AZ), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Xavier College Prep Gators (Phoenix, AZ)

With the win, Xavier College Prep improves its record to 23-3 on the season. The Gators host Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ) to encounter the Aztecs in a 6A - Central battle on Thursday, October 17.
