Virginia High School Volleyball - Fairfax South County

October 16, 2025: Lorton, VA 22079

South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the visiting Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA), 3-1 in a league outing.

The Stallions now have a 16-4 record. They play next when they host West Potomac for a Patriot outing on Tuesday, October 21. South County will play a Wolverines team coming off a 3-0 league win over Woodson (Fairfax, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Fairfax drops to 12-3 on the campaign. The Lions host West Springfield (Springfield, VA) to play the Spartans in a Patriot game on Tuesday, October 21. The Spartans go into the game with a record of 12-6. West Springfield lost 3-2 in their recent league game against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA)
