The Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD) football knocked off the host Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD), 37-28 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 24. Atholton will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Scorpions enter the game with a 6-1 record after their 49-0 league win over Long Reach (Columbia, MD).
