Tahoma Bears (Maple Valley, WA) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Mt. Rainier Rams (Des Moines, WA), 17-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Tahoma improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Kentwood (Covington, WA) to play the Conquerors in a 4A North Puget Sound battle on Friday, October 24. The Conquerors go into the battle with a record of 5-2. Kentwood won 50-44 in their recent league match against Auburn (Auburn, WA)

Coming up next, the Rams meet the Auburn Trojans (Auburn, WA) in a 4A North Puget Sound match, on Thursday, October 23. Mt. Rainier will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 2-5 record after their 50-44 league loss to Kentwood (Covington, WA).
