Washington High School Football - Mt. Rainier sneaks past Auburn

The Mt. Rainier Rams football squad scored 45 points and limited the visiting Auburn Trojans to 40 in the Rams league triumph on Thursday.

The Rams now sport a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennedy Catholic for a 4A North Puget Sound test on Saturday, November 1. Mt. Rainier will face a Lancers team coming off a 74-6 league win over Kentridge (Kent, WA). The Lancers record now stands at 6-2.

The Trojans (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Auburn Riverside (Auburn, WA). The Ravens enter the 4A North Puget Sound challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Auburn Riverside was edged by Stadium (Tacoma, WA), 51-19, in a league test.
